Ok, firstly, cruel. Like. Seriously. Also, I feel like I should go on a rant about how history is traditionally defined by major events and battles and things and really isn't just that. That's part of it, certainly. But. Yeah. Also I apologise, these are probably going to be fairly Anglo-centric and Euro-centric. I want to learn more about history elsewhere but I haven't had the chance yet.
The death of Thomas Becket. The assassination of Julius Caesar Joan of Arc convincing people to listen to her and take her to the Dauphin (seriously want to know how she managed that!) The Reign of Terror during the French Revolution (1793-4) And it's not so much an event but the medical advancement made by the Islamic world by writers such as Ibn Sina during the European "Dark Ages"
And as an added bonus! Some of my fave people from history from another meme I answered once! Margaret Beaufort, Elizabeth Woodville, Mary Seacole, Isabella of Castille, Catherine de Medici, Joan of Arc, Margaret of Anjou. There are many many more but those are the ones I thought of off the top of my head.
