it's the icon I associate most with you and always makes me smile. Having looked through all your icons now though, I also really like this one:

I sooo was. That's probably the height of my fannish life, right now. I had been so depressed and then all these people just gave me this amazing, beautiful present. I actually cried for like an hour. At work. I seriously made one of my coworkers uncomfortable as we discussed rebate structures while I not-so-silently sobbed. :P
Keeping with the podfic theme, what's your favourite thing about podfic?
The people! I feel so much community in this fandom and I have met so many awesome people through podfic. And I love how having a podficcers voice in my ear can make me feel so close to them. I like knowing that other people feel that way about my voice too.

So, I'm kind of afraid to do this, since I have a lot of people that follow me, that I don't really know? I'm mostly on Twitter these days and don't feel close to my flist/circle at all. So instead, I'll just answer these questions for you. :)
1. Tell you why I friended you. If I remember.
It was definitely over podfic, possibly through
2. Associate you with something.
Podfic!
3. Tell you something I like about you.
You're pretty awesome at responding to people on twitter. When people put something out there, you let them know that you're reading, even if there isn't really anything to say. That's pretty awesome. :)
4. Tell you a memory I have of you.
That time twitter was down and we tried emailing each other instead, but kind of failed at it, since we didn't know what to say when we had more than 140 characters. :P
5. Associate you with a character/pairing.
Narnia! Which isn't really a pairing, but I've had your National Service podfics in my queue just waiting for me to be in a Narnia mood (I love those stories, but I'm such a moody listener that I can't just dive into a fandom unless I'm in the mood for it. /o\)
6. Ask something I've always wanted to know about you.
How did you get into podfic?
7. Tell you my favourite userpic of yours.
Looking through yours, I think I like this one best:

Well, I used to listen to lots of audiotapes when I was younger because I have difficulty getting to sleep. And then, when I found my way into bandom, I found podfic and fell in love. I started just listening to things when I couldn't get to sleep, but I now listen when I'm doing things like tidying and washing up and ironing as well. Makes things go by so much faster and more enjoyably! For a little while last autumn I'd been thinking that this was something I could do. Then the Snowflake challenge happened (which I lurked around) and I saw someone saying it would be awesome if someone recorded some of their work. And so I did. I had planned to record one of their drabbles. I ended up doing three. I was hooked pretty much instantly.
