Fandom Snowflake Challenge: Day 4

Day 4

In your own space, create a list of at least three fannish things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a fannish wish-list of sorts. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your wish-list if you feel comfortable doing so. Maybe someone will grant a wish. Check out other people's posts. Maybe you will grant a wish. If any wishes are granted, we'd love it if you link them to this post.

So. Well, erm. I kind of suck at this kind of thing. But I'm going to give it a go anyway.

1) Being Human fanworks, specifically Hal/Tom but really, any Being Human fanwork. I love the show so much. It is basically the show of my heart. And well, I think there should be more stuff in this fandom. And well, I love all sorts of fanworks. So, yay?

2) Somewhere to find recs for decent One Direction fic. Maggie's (daisysusan ) pinboard is the most amazing resource ever for this for me but I have read nearly everything on there and am kind of at a lost of finding fic by myself. It's terrifying out there. Someone help me?

3) Following on from sylvaine I am going tp put out a request for transformative works statements. A lot of my involvement in fandom is transformative. I also have lots of anxiety. Having a statement up makes thing so much easier for me. And, if transformative works are something you'd like to see of your work, this totally increases the chances of that happening!

Somehow I had not thought to check if Maggie had a pinboard before, and god, that is going to make my life SO MUCH EASIER. One Direction fandom makes it damn hard to find good fic, doesn't it? (This is a pointless comment, just, you know, saying thanks for the heads-up and commiserating.)

Maggie's pinboard is one of tge most fabulous things. Makea finding the decent fic so much easier! Because 1D fandom can be very very scary. <3
