So, I asked on twitter and got some great advice but I figured I might as well ask here too.

I feel like trying to do something arty/crafty but I don't really know what. Does anyone have any advice/suggestions/links? Thank you :)

What kind of suggestions are you getting? I'm a big fan of quilting, as you know, but don't think it'd be great in your current situation, unless you love stitching by hand.

Ooh, all sorts to be honest! Lots of yarn based suggestions. The thing is I'm not really sure what I want to do and what would appeal to me, so it's a bit limited based on what I can try easily/cheaply

I like crochet. I find it soothing, faster than knitting, and I was able to teach myself with the help of a book.
