"Another Pleasant Valley Sunday"
I enjoyed Spooks a lot this week. I can't specifically remember why now as I watched it Thursday afternoon and it is now Sunday after all. I squealed a lot when Lucas was in Waterstones. I love Waterstones and I've been in that store! I think I got a bit overexcited by the whole thing really. I was also very proud of figuring out what was going to happen in the end scene with Sarah. Admittedly I didn't figure it out until the scene actually started and the place was very open with few railing and no people. I obviously need to watch some old Midsommer Murders to brush up on my figuring things out in advance skills.
And Merlin! I laugher so much during this week's episode. My brother thought Arthur was overdoing it a bit in some parts, but me and my Mum both thought that it was the kind of thing you have to completely over do to be able to sell it. A bit like panto really! Although I was mildly disappointed that we saw so little of Morgana, but she did have some amazing dresses on when she was around. That sadly is all I really noticed of her this week. I developed a theory part way through though that of the main characters, so far this series only Morgana and Gaius haven't had an episode about their love lives. Gwen had a reappearance of Lancelot, Merlin had Freya and Uther had his lovely troll. We've got enough time this series to have an episode focusing on each of them and a grand finale! Next week though, Morgana is riding off towards a dark prophecy so my grand theory may not come to fruition. Ah well.
Next week, I'm actually going to try and post all my reactions sooner after things have aired so I don't forget what I thought. Oh, and Lie to Me had a giant Christmas tree in it. That for some reason amused me greatly, I think it's probably because for the next couple of weeks at work the main thing I will be selling is Christmas trees. That and pointing out that we have brussel sprouts on the stalk. Whoo.
