I hope this yuletide season finds you happy and well! I hope you’re happy with your assignment and can maybe find something here to spark some creative inspiration. I love all these fandoms and would be delighted for fic for any of them. Happy Yuletide-ing!
As per my sign up, my do not wants are suicide, self-harm, and pregnancy.
As for some general likes: I am a sucker for a happy ending. Give me all the angst and drama along the way, but I do prefer things to end on a (at least vaguely!) positive note. I love found families of all types and people finding their people and thriving with them. It is my kryptonite. I like genfic and teamfic and shippy fic and porny fic! All of those flavours of fic are good for me! I love people having feelings, and having feelings together. I love adventures and plot, but I also love introspection and stories where nothing happens other than thoughts and feelings. Also, and I feel this is potentially appropriate for all of these fandoms, I do love shenanigans and ridiculousness (and puns!), if you feel like going down that sort of path! I'm quite happy with AUs or canon fic - I think the most important thing for me in these fandoms is keeping the relationship dynamics the same, regardless of where you set them!

Now, some fandom specifics!
Albert Campion - Margery Allingham
Requested Characters - Any
I love murder mysteries, especially period murder mysteries. I fell in love with Campion after stumbling across one episode on tv, promptly bought the entire series on dvd, and then ended up reading a good number of the books as well. I tend to prefer the earlier, more whimsical novels and how they poke loving fun at the genre, but I’ve also been tempted recently to read some of the more psychological thriller type ones (I have a copy of Tiger in the Smoke somewhere I keep meaning to read!). Which is to say, if you felt like going down either of those routes, I’d be thrilled! I haven’t specified any requested characters so include whoever you feel like! I love Albert and his wit and how he hides his cleverness and his mysterious background. I love Lugg and his mysterious past and his gruffness and his loyalty and all his remarkable skills. I love Amanda and her spark. I find the idea of Campion’s mysterious background fascinating, and I think there’s potential for an interesting story where his past and present lives meet. We know most of his family doesn’t support him, but some of them do, what’s that like? Does Campion’s background and family ever cause complications? Or, conversely, help him unexpectedly? I just think it’s an interesting avenue to explore regarding a “gentleman detective.” If you want to hew close to canon or go completely wild with an AU, I am totally down with either! I think one of the key things for me about this fandom is the characters and how they interact with each other
The Mrs Bradley Mysteries (TV)
Requested Characters - Adela Bradley, George Moody
My story with The Mrs Bradley Mysteries is very similar to Campion - I stumbled across a rerun on tv, fell in love, and promptly bought the entire series on dvd. I have got hold of a copy of one of the books but I haven’t actually gotten around to reading it, so my interpretation is very much show focused. I adored Adela from the very start. I just love her forthrightness, cynicism, sense of humour and strong opinions. I also found the way Adela approaches crime and her passion for psychology super interesting. She has some rather progressive views for the time and I think that could be something interesting to explore. Another thing I am really interested in is the relationship between Adela and George. Personally, I think there’s something going on between them - sexual, romantic or both. So if that’s something you’re into, I’d be thrilled by fic exploring that in some way (I am also down for explicit fic here but if that’s not your jam, that’s cool!). Regardless of their potential relationship, I love how Adela and George interact with each other. This is a fandom where I'm interested in the relationships between the characters and their histories, the things implied and left unsaid. I also just really love how comfortable George and Adela's relationship is? I get the strong impression that they know where they stand with each other. How did that happen? How does that play into their relationship now? I also have lots of thoughts about how Adela (and by extension George) navigate "society" and if Adela even really cares about such things, if that’s something you felt like exploring. What do other people think of them? If you're feeling shippy, these questions could look at Adela/George, and if you're not, they could focus more on Adela as a divorced woman of some standing negotiating solving crime. I think there's some interesting stuff about how she doesn't seem to care about a lot of those things, but how she still sort of conforms. This is another fandom where I am totally cool with either canon or AU fic, the most interesting part for me is Adela and George’s relationship, whatever form that might take.
Ghosts (TV 2019)
Requested Characters - Any
This show is my happy place. I love all the characters and their relationships. I am particularly fond of Alison/Mike. I don’t have any specific requests or suggestions for this fandom - it’s more an invitation to play around in the sandbox the show has created. I think my favourite thing about the show is the found family aspect. I’ve really enjoyed how various characters have been fleshed out in the most recent series - getting to know more about Kitty in particular was lovely (if also heartbreaking).
Dimension 20: The Seven
Requested Characters - Antiope Jones
Dimension 20 has been such a bright spot for me over the past two years and I fell in love with The Seven immediately. This series has been so wonderful for me. I feel they really captured so incredibly well the dynamics of a group of teenage girls. I have specifically requested Antiope Jones, but would also be happy if any of the other members of The Seven were included as well! There’s just something about Antiope’s story, and how Aabria played her, that really struck a chord with me. What does Antiope do next? How does she tackle the corruption? Or alternatively, what was Antiope like before she was kidnapped? If you feel like exploring her relationship, and how it changes, with her family, that could be super interesting! Alternatively, what is her relationship with the party following the events of the series? If you feel like being shippy, go for it! I don’t have any shipping preferences so if you want to go down that route, feel free to go with any pairing(s) you fancy! I am open to any and all pairings! If you want to write something about Antiope’s internal journey and her emotions, something more introspective, that’s cool. Also, if you want to write a mini adventure for the Seven, that’s cool too! I am pretty much open to anything here, I would just love to see some fic about Antiope - exploring who she is, who she is becoming, her relationships, anything really!
