There is now podfic of my medieval marginalia fic by the wonderful
sisi_rambles which can be found here!
Also in my previous post I realised I somehow completely forgot to rec the gifts I received! A massive oversight. Because I was so lucky this year.
Tea for Two
North and South, Margaret Hale/John Thornton
This period drama gives me SO MANY FEELINGS and this is a nice little snippet of life after the series ends and Margaret and John are MARRIED.
Campion and the Siegfried Line
Albert Campion, pre-canon gen
Campion is one of my all time fave period murder mysteries (I have many many faves in this category). This is a pre-canon glimpse of Lugg and Campion meeting and the style is so perfect for Campion.
Both Sides of the Moon
The Mrs Bradley Myesteries, Adela Bradley/George Moody
Another of my fave period murder mysteries! Seriously, if you like Miss Fisher, watch this show. It's the adventures of an older divorced lady who is an expert in psychology as she solves crime with her chauffeur (who she is totally fucking). Just. This fic is so perfect for me.
I'm still not done with reading everything I want to for Yuletide, but here is a second batch of recs!
do not stand at my grave and weep
Murder on the Orient Express, gen, after the events of the film, they go into the business of providing... leverage.
bedrock
Bedlam Stacks, Merrick Tremayne/Raphael, more excellent porn!
never gonna outrun this
Confident (Music Video), OFC/OFC, really fun world building
Road Trips Without Maps
Ocean's 8, Lou Miller/Debbie Ocean, Debbie gets Lou a ring
The Movies Never Get it Right
Killer Queen (Song), gen, spies, and kidnapping and fae oh my!
Mourning Becomes Eleanor
The Good Place, Tahani Al-Jamil/Eleanor Shellstrop, "Eleanor really should have realised she was bisexual when she was alive."
