Day 2
In your own space, create a list of at least three fannish things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a fannish wish-list of sorts. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your wish-list if you feel comfortable doing so. Maybe someone will grant a wish. Check out other people's posts. Maybe you will grant a wish. If any wishes are granted, we'd love it if you link them to this post.
This was a bit harder this year. So! A request for some things I've been enjoying in fandom recently. And music!
1) Recs for fanworks with femslash in them.
2) Recs for fanworks with soulbonds in them
3) Music recs!
4) And as is tradition! If you've been considering it, or have ever wanted your work podficced or remixed or anything like that, please consider posting a transformative works statement. They do wonders to encourage people to transform your fanworks!

Date: 2015-01-04 08:53 pm (UTC)As for music recs, have you heard of the Minnesota rapper Dessa? She's not at all what people think when they think of rap music. Dessa expertly crafts her music to tell a story, all the while keeping a consistent metaphor throughout the song. I highly recommend her album A Badly Broken Code. Her most recent album is good, but a little depressing, so steer clear of that one, if you're looking for a pick-me-up.
